Join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries to hear Jane Dugan from Old Colony History Museum discuss the important role Bristol County played in the American Revolution. Ms. Dugan will draw on the Museum’s collection, which includes original manuscripts, decorative arts, and militaria, for her presentation on the impact that individuals and groups from Southeastern Massachusetts had on the War of Independence.
The presentation is sponsored in celebration of the 250 th anniversary of the American Revolution.
Jane Dugan is the Education and Program Manager of Old Colony History Museum, which is
located in Taunton. She holds graduate degrees in history and library science from Simmons
University and began her museum career at Storrowton Village Museum in West Springfield, MA.
The presentation will be held at Southworth Library, an accessible facility, which is located at 732
Dartmouth Street, South Dartmouth.
